We believe that lasting conservation and sustainable development are only possible when communities—especially young people are informed, empowered, and actively engaged. Our Community Empowerment & YouthLeadership programme strengthens local capacity by equipping youth and community members with knowledge, skills, and opportunities to become leaders in environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihoods.
Through education, mentorship, and hands-on action, we connect ecological knowledge with everyday decision-making at community level. Our approach emphasizes local ownership, intergenerational learning, and inclusive participation, ensuring that conservation efforts reflect community priorities and deliver tangible social and environmental benefits. We work closely with schools, youth groups, women’s groups and local institutions to foster leadership, build confidence, and nurture a new generation of conservation champions. By empowering communities and youth to take action, we support pathways toward resilient livelihoods, healthy ecosystems, and a sustainable future for people and nature
