At Sustainable Futures Tanzania, we believe that science plays a vital role in guiding our conservation efforts and informing sustainable solutions. One of the exciting projects we’ve been working on involved conducting research on macroinvertebrates as bioindicators of ecosystem health in Amani Nature Reserve. 🦋
Macroinvertebrates are key players in the ecosystem, and their presence, abundance, and diversity provide valuable insights into the overall health of the environment. By studying these tiny but crucial organisms, we can better understand the state of the ecosystem and take timely action to protect it.
Our team’s work in Amani Nature Reserve highlights how research directly informs our conservation strategies, helping us to make data-driven decisions that will contribute to long-term ecological sustainability.
