Sustainable Cage Fish Farming Learning & Community Exchange

Aquaculture, particularly cage fish farming, is increasingly important for food security and livelihoods around Lake Victoria. However, if poorly managed, cage farming can contribute to water pollution, habitat degradation, and conflicts over lake resources. This project focuses on learning, exchange, and awareness around sustainable cage fish farming practices that balance fish production with ecosystem health
